The new website was built using responsive web design methodologies. This enabled more of the screen to be used to present larger versions of the product images. The mobile and tablet versions of the site also enabled a much stronger user experience. A shop the look section was created to enable customers to visualise and purchase an entire outfit. The product pages had a section created to provide more information about the fabrics that were used in the manufacture of the item.
fixed header Fixed headers are very useful UX wise. They will guarantee a smoother browsing experience through the website.
basket dropdown We implemented a full-width basket dropdown so that there would be more room for displaying products. A collapsible dropdown is also good, as it doesn’t cover the page content when showing.
image size This image size has been chosen in order to show the full shot of the model. This decision is due to the fact that customers will have a better understanding of the brand’s look and feel, then triggering their attention.
Newsletter sign up Two sign ups have been displayed on the homepage. First one on the header so that it will be carried throughout the website and second one in the body so that if the first get missed, customers will still have a chance to sign up.
