02. Customer Audience Research

Successful CRO is impossible if you don’t understand your audience and we need good data to do that. The Customer Audience Research process allows us to gather as much relevant information as possible which we can then translate into a targeted CRO strategy, the steps we use are detailed below.

Customer Audience Research Report

By the end of the customer audience research process we will provide a summary report that offers a breakdown of all our findings. The report comes complete with recommendations on how we think it best to proceed and will contain information about how the current site correlates with your company’s goals and your current audience perceptions.

03. Customer Experience (CX) Audit

Once the Customer Audience Research process is complete we will begin to look more directly at the customer experience. This will be guided by our findings from the research process and will be reinforced by our own experience based knowledge of best practices.

Our audit begins with a clear template that ensures our work will be thorough and efficient. The audit will see us review your website’s key pages, user journeys identified in the research process and all merchandising elements such as your search and upselling capabilities. We will also conduct a full audit of your site’s mobile, tablet and desktop functionality, an essential when considering that close to 50% of all UK eCommerce traffic comes through mobile devices. Just like in the research process, our findings will be presented to you in a final report that will clearly reference each issue and contain recommended solutions.

04. Competitor Benchmarking

We will complete a benchmarking assessment where we will review the key competitors and aspirational competitors against all of the key metrics that we assess your site during the customer experience audit and provide a benchmarking report to provide positioning against the competitors.

05. SEO Experience Audit

Our SEO Experience Audit reviews the site from an SEO perspective to identify areas that could be inhibiting higher conversion rates. The audit will highlight several data points and point to remedies that we believe will rectify the problems.

06. Site Speed Audit and Diagnosis

Google made Core Web Vitals a key search rankings factor in an update earlier this year. This means that slow websites will find it a lot harder to climb the search rankings and this will affect conversion rates.
